Tell us about your background and journey so far.
My journey has been defined by a deep engagement with academics, leadership, and the arts, each playing a meaningful role in shaping both my professional and personal development.
From an early age, I recognized the importance of challenging myself, and as I grew older, this drive translated into pursuits across engineering, laboratory research, manufacturing leadership, and organizational research. Throughout this journey, I was clinically identified in the profoundly gifted range after beginning my senior year of high school at the age of fifteen. This realization helped me better understand my patterns of acquiring information, rapid learning, meta-thinking, systems-level analysis, and a sustained desire to explore complexity. It also provided valuable context for how I engage with challenges, environments, and leadership responsibilities.
What makes your work or business unique?
As the founder of Inclusive Giftedness Consulting (IGC), I have created a dedicated space where gifted and high-IQ neurodivergent individuals can receive the tailored support they often lack in traditional systems. My work is grounded in the understanding that cognitive differences require intentional, individualized approaches rather than generalized solutions.
Through IGC, my firm offers assessments, coaching, and leadership consulting, with plans to introduce corporate workshops in the future. These services are designed to help both individuals and organizations identify, develop, and effectively utilize hidden cognitive strengths. Through this work, my aim is to reduce attrition, improve well-being, and cultivate environments in which exceptional minds are understood, supported, and able to thrive.
Share one achievement you’re most proud of.
I have been recognized and awarded internationally for my contributions to the manufacturing sector, which reflects the impact of my work within complex, high-performance environments. These recognitions represent not only professional milestones but also the practical application of research-driven leadership and innovation.
In addition, my most recent venture involves the development of a patent-pending invention, the “Wrong-Way Detection Device,” designed for the automotive industry. This project reflects my ongoing commitment to applying research, systems thinking, and innovation to real-world challenges with meaningful societal impact.
What challenges have you faced, and how did you overcome them?
A recurring challenge throughout my career has been navigating environments that highly value productivity yet struggle to understand or accommodate cognitive differences. Profound giftedness is often misinterpreted as intensity, misalignment, or even a perceived threat, rather than being recognized as an organizational advantage.
I addressed this challenge by grounding my contributions in rigorous research, measurable outcomes, and quantifiable results, while also prioritizing clear communication and relatability. By demonstrating tangible value and maintaining accessibility, I was able to bridge gaps in understanding and establish credibility within diverse professional settings.
What is your vision for the future?
My vision is to contribute to a broader shift in how organizations perceive intelligence and to help reshape systems so gifted individuals are able to contribute meaningfully while accessing leadership opportunities. I aim to support environments that recognize the value of critical thinkers and are open to empowering individuals with high cognitive capacity.
On a personal level, I am committed to helping individuals build lives and careers that are both productive and fulfilling. This includes fostering self-understanding, sustainable success, and alignment between cognitive strengths and professional roles.
How do you stay motivated and relevant in your field?
I stay motivated by maintaining interdisciplinary pursuits, engaging in continuous learning, and applying scientific principles to inform my decisions. Exploring multiple fields allows me to remain intellectually engaged while drawing meaningful connections across disciplines.
To remain relevant, I consistently support and implement evidence-based practices while staying informed about emerging research. I place particular emphasis on developments related to cognition, neurodiversity, and leadership dynamics, ensuring that my work remains both current and grounded in proven methodologies.
What advice would you give to aspiring women leaders and professionals?
Aspiring women leaders should understand that their existence does not require justification. Race, ethnicity, or cultural expectations should not dictate how female leaders present themselves or define their leadership style.
The most effective path forward is to lead with integrity and competence, ensuring that actions are supported by proven techniques grounded in both theory and practice. Confidence rooted in capability and consistency remains one of the strongest foundations for sustainable leadership success.
