What makes my work unique is the way I approach problem-solving, with both a strategic mindset and a human-centred lens. I don’t just look at challenges as obstacles; I see them as opportunities to innovate, improve, and create long-term impact. I also sought out mentors, both male and female, who advocated for me, offered guidance, and helped me navigate difficult situations.

Another challenge has been achieving work-life balance, especially during times of personal transition or career growth. I’ve learned that balance doesn’t mean perfect equilibrium every day, it means being intentional with my time, setting boundaries, and giving myself grace when things aren’t perfectly aligned.

Professionally, I want to continue breaking barriers and creating space for more women, especially women of colour, to lead confidently and authentically. Success shouldn’t be an exception, it should be the norm we build together.

I envision a future where leadership is defined not just by results, but by empathy, collaboration, and innovation. I want to help shape organisations and cultures that are purpose-driven, future-ready, and deeply human.

On a personal level, my goal is to keep evolving, to stay curious, open, and brave in how I grow. I believe in lifting as I climb, so mentorship, advocacy, and paying it forward will always be at the heart of what I do. Whether it’s in boardrooms, community spaces, or one-on-one conversations, I want my legacy to be one of empowerment and possibility.

But growth happens when we lean into discomfort and take risks, even if our voice shakes the first time we speak up.

Surround yourself with people who challenge and champion you. Seek out mentors, but also peer allies and sponsors who will advocate for you in rooms you’re not yet in. And just as importantly, be that person for others. Leadership isn’t just about titles; it’s about impact, integrity, and lifting others as you rise.
